If Arnold can
make govenor, then why the hell can't this guy run for president?
Now there's a new urgency in hip-hop, amidst the bore of conventional
big budget bling. EXILE, known by many as one of L.A.'s finest DJs,
has a bone to pick and so he picked up the mic . He's the archnemesis
to eorge Jr., his rival in the upcoming election. This song, which
he wrote and produced, would be considered the theme music for his
campaign. The video was done by a disgruntled citize Wayne Simbro,
making this project the creation of just two individuals fueled
by a common animosity.
Shot in Los Angeles,
San Francisco and New York City, it captures Martians, golden women,
kidnapped politicians, angry police and screaming bums alike. Along
with intertwined stock footage, this video adds the perfect visual
chaos to compliment EXILE's subversive content and relentless lyrical
dlievery. In short: it's militant and amusing all at once, achieving
a raw appeal and gritty aesthetic that brings with it a certain
level of sincerity. We figure even i fyou hat rap music you'll still
wanna vote for this guy.
