We have made it our mission to help independent filmmaker's promote their programs.  We have made it our goal to celebrate the best independent programs!  We do this by bestowing our highest honor, The Zoie StarAwards,  and  Certificates, Prizes and even some Cash are the achievment awards that will distinguish the best from the rest.  Our list of winners will be distributed to reputable broadcast and video distributors. 

Utilizing the best technology, winning programs will be streamed online in a variety of speeds to accommodate a large audience. 

Judged by a panel of media professionals, awards are given in the following categories for Independent Productions only (any format): Film Shorts, Works in Progress, Children's Programs, Documentary, Animation, History and Graphics and Women's Issues. (see list below)

We are looking for unparalleled creativity, technical viruosity and strong production values. 

Please read on for the rules for the first Zoie Films Award.  The LATE entry deadline is February 20, 2006.  Independent programming is our interest ~~ let us celebrate your work!

Productions produced in 2000 - 2007 and works completed anytime in 2008 may be entered by the director, producer or distributor. Entries submitted to the Zoie Films Festival must be received by: August 1st (early deadline) or September 15th (late deadline) 20, 2008.

Any extension must be granted by an associate of Zoie Films.

Early Deadline: August 1st: all submission, all lengths: *$35.00

Late Deadline: September 15th:

• Shorts (all works & genres under 30 minutes): $45
• Students: $25
• Webworks: $25.00

Submision fees must be paid in US dollars by a check made to Zoie Films or by a major credit card, Amex, Discover,  MasterCard or Visa.  International checks or money orders must be drawn on US correspondent banks only, in US dollars. 

Entry fees cover registration, processing, notification that your entry has been received, jury screening, and an official winners list.  Entry fees are non-refundable. 

Return of Entries
Unless requested in writing, submissions will not be returned.  Entry forms and payments sent by mail or by fax will not be processed without an accompanying vhs tape. Tapes will not be considered for competition unless accompanied by the necessary fees and entry information.
